Candle Care & Burning Instructions
Before lighting:
- Trim the wick to about 5–7 mm before each burn.
- Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, and flammable materials.
- Allow the first burn to last 2–3 hours or until the wax melts evenly across the surface — this prevents tunneling.
While burning:
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep the melted wax pool free from debris such as wick trimmings or matches.
- Never move a burning candle or touch the glass until it cools completely.
After use:
- Extinguish the flame by gently blowing it out or using a snuffer — avoid using water.
- Let the wax cool and solidify before relighting.
- Stop using the candle when about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom.
